More than anything, we wish we were joining our colleagues, in person, at the 2020 Russell Bedford Annual Global Conference! Instead, we are delighted for the opportunity to connect online; allowing us to come together and learn from each other, sharing our knowledge and experiences. As part of Russell Bedford’s conference theme #ComeTogether, we’ve taken time to reflect on the often surprising positive aspects of what has been a challenging year.
2020 has taught us to become more grateful for all of life’s wonderful experiences we’ve been so fortunate to enjoy. Remember that glorious feeling of hopping on a long-haul flight, book in hand and the knowledge that nobody could reach you for a whole eight or so hours – bliss! Or the warm embrace of a loved one who you haven’t seen for so long. That Friday feeling, hitting the bar with your friends or colleagues. Planning get-togethers without restrictions.
Don’t worry, we’ll enjoy all of these experiences again, but with a little more perspective and a lot more appreciation. Let’s strive to never take even the smallest of life’s pleasures for granted again.
